Julie Lange
Director of Wealth Management; Branch Manager; FCSI; CIM
Julie opened the Belleville branch of ScotiaMcLeod on April 15, 1998. She began her career in the financial services industry with another major investment firm in October, 1987. The crash of ’87 was an invaluable lesson for Julie on the importance of preservation of capital and asset allocation. During her earlier years, Julie attained her FCSI, CIM, options and insurance licences and Director designation. When approached by ScotiaMcLeod to open a branch in Belleville, Julie accepted their offer with a view to building a branch and a team that would reflect her beliefs and ideals, and best serve our clients. Julie and Ellie have worked together since Julie’s first day in the industry. Julie is an active supporter of our local community, with special interests in children and in sports.
Every year, ScotiaMcLeod recognizes and rewards the significant contribution of its top performing advisors. Since the early years of the branch’s opening, Julie has been honoured as a member of ScotiaMcLeod’s prestigious Chairman’s Council, for her quality of business and long-term contribution to the organization.
Representing individual integrity and unrivaled professionalism, the designation of Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) is reserved for financial services professionals who have met the most exacting standards for industry experience, advanced education and solid endorsement from their peers and superiors. This designation is awarded to industry professionals whose superior training and experience exemplify excellence. It is recognized as the highest honour in the financial services industry, and one that Julie has held since 1992.
